They need it to size the vapouriser. Always overestimate the hp for this, not underestimate!
It is no problem to supply a full kit for your Jeep – at this engine size and 300hp, you have two options – you can use and Italian based kit with special high output components to suit your carb/engine setup or the American made Impco system. The Italian system is excellent quality and will work fine with this power but will be at the top end of its working range. The Impco kit is specially designed for large engines and is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of kits for this type of application.With a cylinder tank upto 90ltr (other/bigger tanks are available), the Italian kit will cost £550 + vat and the Impco based kit will cost £850 + vat, both kits will contain all you need for the conversion with good instructions and any advice/backup you may need.
