Have thee run the motor directly from a 12v supply?
The wiring for the Alrights and Albrights are the same. Well the one Albright i have and the Alrights on my truck are wire the same anyway.

all working
i think the main problem was me knowing the winch was good not paying enough atention after propper cleaning of everything all is well
had it been an unknown winch i think i would have done a better job first time round x9 may be over the top on a mindy but heyhoo
also fitted a steering damper
