And finally.

The YJ hard top I've got on the CJ7 has that poxy window tint film.

What's the easiest way to remove it please?

I'm thinking my beloved Aldi hot air gun will crack the glass.

Hair drier maybe?

lift edge and it should peel with the hot air gun, just don't get it too close and keep the heat moving

Irrelevant maybe, but it's not my cup of tea and there are rips in it anyway.

It's coming off tomorrow.

Done

Used  the electric paint stripper on the low setting.

Awkward to start with then got really easy.

OS side window and upper tailgate no problems.

NS side glass had me foxed for a while.

Stripped the film off and it was still tinted :017:

They had  used one layer of dark tint on the OS and tailgate and TWO layers of light tint on the NS.

The ingenuity of bodgers never ceases to amaze me  :icon_eek:
