hey brit we cant not meet you so how about this if we have a comtee meet and you  can make it try and get to birmingham new street train station we will pick you up and drop you off on the 25th that way you can meet some of the gang

I is in London today, give me a bell when you get here and I'll let you know what days I should be up town again, I'm about 5 mins from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge too :)

Your plan sounds great, but there is a slight a problem.  The wife and I are planning a bit of site-seeing in London on the 24th (Friday) and 27th (Monday), with day trips (via Rail) on the weekend (25/26).  Whilst we are considering Rail trips to Wells (Cathedral, etc. need to hire a car from Bourton) and another to day trip to Portsmouth (HMS Victory, etc.), we could do Bath.  The Rail trips are a bit loose, but can't see Birmingham in THIS visit.

EvilEd, I hope my schedule matches with yours (and anyone else here of course) and we can have a brew!  Now, how to "sell" the Mrs. on the idea that I am meeting a "Jeep Mate" at a local during our quick holiday, MIGHT be a challenge.  But I'm UP for it!   :partyman:

At the Marriott Park Lane (by Hyde Park).  Looks like we might just day trip to Wells Cathedral on the morrow.  Hope Evil Ed might be in the big city, and that we can have a brew, on Monday.
