Guys

I'm thinking of sticking one of these in the back of my 6, not the posi locker but the original lockright version

Reasons,

Cost
Ease of install
Drivability (on road)
Seem to work well offroad

So before I buy one do you guys have any comments for me

I've been running one in the back of the xj for the last 3-4 yrs and had no problems. Noisy but works well offroad and scares people in car parks when it unlocks with a loud crack.

There are a few to choose from...

...I run Aussie lockers front and rear, slight clicking on tarmac, nothing loud though.... cheap as well £150....

ran one in the back Dana 44 of the YJ for 9 years worked well........

Blew to previous Dana 35 tofuck within 6 months tho

I have the spartan and in comparison to my mates lockrite it seems quieter.

No complaints here though happy with its service so far

Had a fair bit of head ache fitting aussie locker, found detailed distructions on the web though... make sure you use thrust washers and in good condition...

I have only used Aussie Lockers, I can say they are very good off and on road...

of all the varieties of 'lunchbox' lockers in a test side by side JP mag found that they all performed as they should BUT the original Lockrite fitted more easily. So maybe worth the extra few bucks?
