TJ Rear Lower Control Arms
« on: July 17, 2012, 09:25:46 AM »

Can somebody suggest where I might get a pair of rear lower control arms from, with the adjustable joints (Johnny joint?), would prefer to source in the UK for speedy delivery.  The TJ has a 4.5" suspension lift.

I currently have RE ones fitted, but I think they are no longer available.

Spoke to Steve at FTE, non in stock, but can be ordered.  He can also refurbish the old units, so just waiting for him to call back with a price.

If I can get the toolkit and parts, it will be worth refurbishing the other ones as well.

They are propably the easiest type to service, much easier than Johnny Joints. I bought replacement plastic races and the tool from Steve at FTE years ago (no longer have them though). Being able to take them apart and pack with grease every now and then is very useful.
