I have a small inverter in the back of the xj, bought it for my caravan when away at meets to power my laptop but then bought a geny so popped it into the jeep, quite handy really as its strapped to the aux winching battery box, can run a few lights or power the laptop, its not hugely big, but comes in handy for small stuff.



Just went out n had a look, tis 500w  :icon_biggrin:

chatted to the seller and he is gonna throw in his inverter gratis so will see what turns up - i wish i had known they existed before as what you have done seems logical and obvious to me

If all this electrickery is going over your head then maybe you should get one of these instead and get a fairground monkey to power it up for you.

I bet the Isle of man has a pair of inverters to keep his wax pot ticking over. This will ensure he keeps his smooth body lines when hes on his travels.
