« on: January 28, 2013, 09:33:42 PM »

Hey guys, just want a little feedback / or comments on a Spartan Locker for the rear of my 98 XJ (its non LSD), & I have been offered the locker £200 new!!
Sounds pretty cheap & cheerful.
Any experience or don't go there's???

I have a lockrite locker in a complete axle, you could have for £100

I,m not sure. I brought it from another Birty with the intention of putting it in my XJ but changed to a Chrysler axle instead.

Im running a Sparton locker in my 6, great piece of kit and easy to install. I got mine new from the states for $200 delivered. I think personally they are better than the lockrite as they have better fitment and a hardened cross pin as standard.

the lockers work pretty much the same as they are all lunch box lockers just like an Aussie lockers. The lock right for a Dana 35 comes with a high strength pin and costs $341.99 plus postage and duties from quadratec. You would be more likely to snap a shaft before damaging the locker.
