Just been through the same problem

The pipework is much easier to see/get at from underneath so access to ramp/pit is a big bonus! and its a good chance that its the pipes themselves that are leaking as its a pretty common issue they rot from the inside out
TBH i didn't do the job myself having my friendly local mechanic do it for me and he only had to move the airbox to improve access
One good point though is that because its my daily driver i ran it for a couple of months with the pump dry! until i had time to take it off the road And after having some newly made pipework fitted (150 quid from hydraulic specialists) filled her up and pump was still fine Mechanic mate was shocked! he's known cars have pumps die after going a few yards with no fluid in
