Still need to sort this out and failing badly.

Difs
Looking at this for front

and this for the back

But, I can't track anything down for transfer case or petrol tank. Any pointers to where I can get them from prefurably cheapish as it's not like I'm going rock crawling just wanted a little insurance :)

personally, i am not a fan of diff guards, they can pick up stuff & cause more damage than they are worth.......i have never bust a cover.......yet!!

transfer case skids are relatively easy to come by...........i could well be breaking another early XJ soon, so if you want a skid, let me know & i will put you on the list!!

fuel tank skids are another matter.........i know surrey offraod used to do em, cos i had one.........again, the early XJ's seemed to have a much tougher fuel tank cover than the later ones (after 95 i think they were made by cadburys!)

As for diff covers Rockcrusher do an awesome updated diff cover for TJ's

not sure about Grands tho

i believe rockcrusher only do the d60 and d44 at the moment......

You need to speak to Greggmo about the diff guards, he's planning on making some similar to the warn ones.  The currie ones are very much like them, but include the diff cover, where the warn ones bolt over it.

It's a much better design than the tubular type, cos they can get hung up on stuff, they also have the added advantage of acting as a diff slider but with phat phux around there's no need to pay that kind of money! :wink:
