WJ TPS

Hi all, i own a 4.0 2002 wj,  on part throttle about 10% it runs really lumpy anything above that or below that it runs fine. i presumed it may be a dead spot on my tps so i took it off to test it ,the strange thing is that no matter which combination of pins i test i do not get a change of resistance at all when i turn the shaft. so if the tps is totally fubar how is it still running and why is it not bringing up any fault codes. the problem is the same on petrol or lpg. also according to my local motor factor when i gave him the part number off my existing tps he said that it is not the correct one for my model i have a 56027942AD fitted .

All I can say is when my TPS went on my V8 WJ it did all sorts of things with lumpy idle, hunting and going into safe mode.

Got to be worth putting the right one on see what happens.
