Pro Comp Shocks or Rough Country ?? TJ with 6" lift ,,95% off road use, has Rancho RS5000 on at the moment but rear bottom bushes goosed and can't find any.

Pretty much the same shocks rebadged. You might pm mikec on here. I think he has some bilsteins for sale

Yep, I'd try and spend a bit more and get something like Bilstein 5100s. But out of those two there's no difference really.

As above, you get what you pay for.. thumbs up for Bilstein and Edelbrock if you can get them..

I am new to this type of shock so dependant on advice from those who have tried out different types.I know Bilsteins are good but so is there price.

Finally have time to  fit the new shocks. Spot the difference.
Bought them from  Kolak and price + service 100% the best

I am in the process of fitting the new shocks and found this on the offside rear. It was hidden behind a big washer, I think some welding is needed.

When I got the rear shocks off I compressed them to see how they were and they are still compressed, no rebound at all. Well goosed I think.

Another surprise I wasn't expecting . Nut missing and the quick release was almost out on its own.. Offside finished .. I have now regained 2" of lift. Absolutely no rebound on the old shocks. I could compress the old shocks easily and they stayed compressed.
