Changing from an xj to a zj for offroad use
« on: February 11, 2014, 11:20:37 AM »

Hi Guys, got hold of a gas converted zj at the weekend, so I need to find out what's what with them. Only planning on 2" spacer lift, so can anyone tell me if it will take bigger tyres on 16" rims currently has 225/70/16 fitted. I have extended shocks so is it OK to remove the rear anti roll bar to get some droop. Anything else I should or shouldn't do ? Any help appreciated

Don't remove the rear anti roll bar as you could roll the jeep

:iagree: they are a bit wobbly without the rear arb
I ran 31x10.50 15s on mine with about 2-3" lift, get some disconnects for the front  :icon_winkle:

I was hoping for the equivalent of 31's whatever that works out on 16" rims in metric. Don't mind trimming. I want as good an offroad performance as I can get, so need the diff to be as high as I can off the road to compensate for all those Landy boys digging trenches with their 35's.
