Well, my tread is wearing thin, and i've got a slow leak in one, so i figured i'd retire them... but I was wondering, after i regear the axles, will my tiny little 4 banger be able to push 35s? or should I stick to the 32/33 range?

with deeper gearing it will about 4.88s should be about right

also, i want a more aggresive mud tire, but all the ones i've found aren't e-marked. I found kingoffroad.co.uk, but it seems all thier tires are retreads,/remoulds. I know I could easily go with the wrangler MTs or BFG MTs, but i kinda wanted something with a little more bite

Nothing wrong with remoulds, the 2.5 isn't the fastest thing in the world after all. Look at Bronco 4x4's site, and check out Grizzly Claws. Plenty agressive enough.

Check out the tyres poll thread below for further thoughts! Still haven't made my mind up. I love the Grizzley's in the mud, but they aren't that cheap any more... especially in the bigger sizes... :cry:

Grizzlys are good but at about 90 the lugs start to fly off...... :werd:

on the regearing topic, should i regear the front and back to match? or should they be offset?

The ratios have to match, unless you plan on exploding your gearbox or one or both axles!

i have 5.13 r&p with 35"inch tyre and still feel as i have not gone enough.......if i had the choice again i will go deeper or automatic.

ok now i understand.......my tip is don't put 35" tyres on maximum tyre 33" and go 4.56 r&p

Never had anything fly off my Grizzlys, and the old XJ regularly goes over 90!
