Anyone know anything about making a tube bender from an old car wheel hub and stub axle?

I need to bend 28x3 ERW tube though about 90º max.

I have a hydraulic centre push bender that will piss this, but apparently the quality of the bends isn't good enough   

Needs to be a pull around type and I don't have ££££ to throw at buying a professional one.

It's the quality of the die wiper/follower and stuff that dictates the acceptability of the bend.

If it's any help I have a bender and can bend.....
1 3/4"
And 1 1/4" CDS....  Would need to van it up to you as cut to fit overlong pieces.

That's one option that could be made to work for me.
I've decided to have another crack at building hard tail frames.
I built one years ago just to prove a point.
It was rough as fuck,  but the guy I built it for pressed on and built the bike anyway.

TBH I was quite chuffed with myself when I picked up my centre push bender for just £90
But I've been on a Chopper building site today and the advice is as follows-
"If you can't get a decent quality bender and make good quality bends,  don't bother starting the job,  the frame will look crap"

The 'unseen' parts of my original tube fenders were not pretty.....
Due to the Mau Mart Crinklemeister pipe bender ........centre push hydraulic jack thing.....

Mine looks like the MM one but came off ebay for £50 less.
Probably worse.
There are only six bends in a basic hardtail frame.
The trouble is that the lower rails each have two bends and they are axially not in the same plane.
OK so I could use two lengths of pre-bent tube butted together maybe with a doubler inside.
I could probably make the join invisible too.
But I'd rather do it properly.

Iom is the only bender I know!
