Potential J20 purchase
« on: July 10, 2014, 07:08:32 AM »

A friend of mine has the opportunity to by a 1981 J20, it's a 4.2l version.

The Jeep has not been driven for a number of years, the engine turns over but won't fire. The body is rough and needs a good bit of work to remove tin worm.

Question is, what is it worth?

Any advice appreciated

It sounds like a shed and isn't even V8 so I would say £600 absolute max - only value in it is axles unless ya have a dream to fix
