Red hot super thin screwdriver....... Stab in pinhole.........gently......... And quickly withdraw.......then test....... Usually works well......... Worked on my wellies

I repaired my washer bottle with araldite rapid and it worked ok but doesn't get hot.

Alluminium pressure tape. Make sure the surface is free from grease etc

£50 + shipping from breakers is too dear
Its only short term motor so tape seems the best idea as new tanks that arent standard are gonna require additional skills to fit
Dave - can you be more specific on this tape as Aluminium pressure tape produces nowt on fleabay etc - cheers

Is a taped up engine bay not going to be detrimental to resale value though? £50 now makes sense. Or the hot poker as above

the coolant reservoir has a cover, plus the pin pricks are underneath so TBH it wouldnt be seen anyway
I can leave it and top up every week anyway
the hot poker has 'BD makes an even bigger hole' written all over it
