CJ universal joint strap bolt size?

Help needed please? Can someone tell me the correct size for the bolts holding on the prop UJ's?
I've read that its 1/4 12 point torx or possibly could be 7mm bi-hex?

head is not important as long as its reduced size flange (Allen head will work) just needs to be hi tensile. On mine bolt size is 5/16"dia, 24tpi and 1.170" long

if possible upgrade to U bolt type fitting and lose the staps

Cheers for the advice, have got strap replacements but I think I should consider 'u' bolt fixings.

Problem is, I can't get these feckers off! What's the socket size?
