Sounds good and close to home for me which makes a change.

It sounds like we will do a few Birty's events and then be a roaming club going elsewhere, I'm looking forward to it  :steeringwheel:

Did some  off-roading there with JeepworldMark Askews lot, was a good site but reading between the lines here it looks like off roading only at Devils Pit.
Hope I'm wrong!

following with interest on ideas, but in the deep dark kernow distance might have a bigger impact

A number of options in Kernow....

Bush Farm, just inside Kernow/Cornwall... Quarry area, woods and then another set of woods near by for more awesome fun... last years de cider was held over these two places.

Thunder Park, about an hour into Kernow... Quarry area, Proper stick sections, slopes and trees and boulders...

Both sites fine to camp and have water and toilet, camp fire should be no problem at either... possible hog roast/catering can be sorted.

If you want any more info/help or even some punches set out then I can help... cheers Maf

PS Also some really nice lanes down here... many are tight though...  :icon_winkle:

It's a trek but if we aren't doing Harptree then this would be a good way to meet up with Bryn, Dutch, Dave...

Didn't want to go there because after all Birties is a Midlands based club and hence events would be centered around that area.

Although Kernow is a nice part of the world you'd struggle on participants.  What goes for us goes for you guys oop Norf I guess.

The locations that have been mentioned so far would mean trailering because 150 Miles (Harptree) is about as much motorway driving  as one can do in a CJ.

BD would overheat 30 miles out of Maidstone so he's out  :003:

I think we are heading elsewhere for Breakout so no Spring Harptree trip. J33P are doing an informal trial event there later in the year that we could go to.

OR, I'm happy to arrange an event there but it needs to be attended by at least 12 weekend trucks to be worthwhile financially (not a loss) and we have always just scraped that number at Breakouts past.

Love Harptree and it wasn't the same last year on a bl**dy motorbike  :icon_sad:

Ok, you want confirmed numbers : Pre-pay-pre-book only non refundable - gents put down your hard earned and walk the walk.

Tough but realistic. How much and where do I pay  :icon_super:

Evening chaps j33p would be more than happy to have birtys at some of our events for the coming year. We have posted some on our site so you can have a nosey. Just sorting out a few details but looking like it could be a top year and hopefully ill meet some new folk and boost jeep numbers at seven sisters, always have more landies than jeeps there.

I'll have some of Hawkstone, infact I'm going to be there in April with the Shropshire Lanes boys and girls. And I'll show my face at CF again and this time I won't over heat (hopefully)!

Afternoon, any thoughts on the dates for Birties at Kirton?

I really want to get to some Jeep events this year, but I've got my honeymoon from 20th July. The Mrs will be gutted if I have to cancel the honeymoon - she doesn't like the Jeep already!
