I've a bit of experience with Merc diesels and currently helping fit one in a car,I reckon the 606 is the best diesel motor merc have produced ,this one is running stand alone ecu conversion..have vids on phone but can't load here...
I can remember them in those quality times of MB engineering when Mercs were F for expensive,In the mid 80's......Were these engines built into the 90's Otherwise it's going to be 30 years old

Read the merc thing yesterday, then found a guy who put a Vag 1.9tdi unit in and working on a Vag 2.0tdi unit one as well. Now I have to ask the question anyone ever fitted a 200 tdi unit to a Jeep. Ill hide behind this wall for a while

Ill hide behind this wall for a while You can buy a kit in America to fit the VAG diesel unit into a Jeep, I can't recall the name of the company right now.
