ZJ - Cylinder Heads remplacement
« on: March 27, 2015, 05:48:44 PM »

Hi,

I need to replace both cylinder heads on my 5.2 ZJ.
I don't look to make it better thant the original but they are dead (valve guide are dead).
I also need gaskets and all needed small parts.

Do you have a recommandation to purchase as I'm in Begium?

I also need a water radiator, it could be a group purchase but the radiator is less urgent.

Thanks and have a good day,
JC

Everything you need should be available from rock auto.com

Doubt you'll find new heads just get an engineering shop to recon the originals.

It is cracked.
The use of LPG is deadly for those kind of cylinder heads...
A head gasket leak made my engine to overheat. Analysing the cylinder head relealed cracks and valve leaks.

I believe I realy have to change them.

I don't think it as aluminium heads (but the are at the workshop now).
The valves where badly damaged by the LPG, as I understand. That's why they are not sealed anymore.

You lost me with "iron IIRC". What is it?
