XJ fuse box, where the hell

Hi all, I'm struggling to find the fuse box on the wife's 96 Cherokee 4.0. I read somewhere it would either be under the glove box or failing that under the steering column. It doesn't appear to be in either location. Can anyone shed some light?

Drivers footwell on the right I think is one of them.

I've had a look all around that area Ted, couldn't see anything obvious. I'm looking for a quick access panel, perhaps I'm being presumptuous and I need to employ a screw driver.

Tj is behind glove box.unscrew strap holding glove box.may help you

drivers footwell in the mk 1, upside down at the bottom of the right hand knee panel

Lay on your back and look up under the panel and you will see it.
