np321 transfer case

Any reasons why you couldn't or shouldn't fit a 231 from a yj into a tj  thoughts please folks

Provided tis 4.0 to 4.0 and not 2.5 cos the spline count is different.

Linkage is different but a Novak link kit will make it all firm and wonderful......

 :017: Neither model has full time 4wd. Now, bolting in a 242, THAT would be something i'd be interested in.

Think the 231 is stronger and the 241 HD that was in the Rubicon with 4:1 is the biz

I think that's correct ?????

There is a 242HD that was fitted in Hummers and has its own oil cooler!
