Go for 35"s or stick with 33"s
« on: September 18, 2015, 08:38:59 PM »

need to sort new tyres

currently ruining  33X10.50 R15 BFG
my axles are the normal D30 and D35's but have 4.56 R&P and ARB diffs plus the rear is a big spline alloy shaft job.
as runing a 5" lift long arm lift and and going to trim the arches a lot so thinking of going 35 12.5 R15

Opinions welcome

Can only speak YJ.....but 35 X 12.50 will kill that  dana35 even a ZJ variant.....

33 X 10.50 is a lot smaller and a LOT lighter

I know it's your off-roader but my rig was sprightly on 33 X 12.50 and a slug on 35x12.50

Fuel went from 18 down to 14 on a good day.......

But hell it was fun......

And now it's even better :icon_super: :icon_super:
