Hiya all I've just bought a Yj that requires a bit of tlc on checking round it I found that none of the indicators work even on 4 way flash and I've no brake lights. I've checked the fuses all are ok and I've pulled the yellow relay is there another relay that I should be looking for? Is there any other connection between the brake lights and the indicators? I'll start looking at the earth points this afternoon.

Look at the light earthing points for corrosion as a starter.

Also you could check the voltage to the lights using a multimeter

Well that's the indicators fixed courtesy of a new flasher relay from Lighthouse Jeep. If the rain holds of I'll check the brake lights out later on this week. I suspect that it will be the switch which looks like a swine to get to. I've already checked the fuses and the bulbs.
