Hello all, my lpg gauge is constantly saying I have a full tank, ive been doing it on milage but that's getting annoying, would it be just a sender unit? And where would it be?

Is it the small square indicator on the dash that has 4 green lights an Amber and a red for empty that is reading full?
On the tank there is a grey(probably) 8" long box where fill and supply gas pipes enter the tank there is a guage here as well this one should give a more accurate reading.....or is it this one that is constantly reading full?

The one on the dash of our ZJ has always read full too, which is why I thought the LPG system was non functional when we bought it (it was empty!)
Apparently the senders get stuck really easily.
I realise as I type this that that is in no way helpful though

Yes it's the indicator on the dash, always showing 4 green lights, I have searched for info on Google but I have no idea what system I have?

and the Bish is voicing an unfounded opinion again.
fuel guage using the green lights may require resetting to that mode

Hmmm, if having LPG enables me to do the 550 miles a week that I currently do in a 4.0 Jeep rather than a little econobox, then I'm more than happy to put up with the (as of yet non-existent) downsides!

To (mis) quote Monty Python, that's not a debate, it's just the automatic gainsaying of another persons argument.....no it isn't...yes it is....
Have LPG on the WK and very happy with it thank you.....that smug feeling when I fill it up for £35 is hard to beat. I KNOW I would cringe every time I put £100 in the petrol tank otherwise. I get a small reduction on the road tax and the MOT emissions test is a joke on LPG.

What sort of LPG system have you got? On some systems that means there is a fault somewhere and on one in particular i know of (BRC Just) it means the ECU is FUBAR but only if it's the upper 3 LEDs in the gauge.
Some photos of the switch and the installation would be helpful here.
