Dodge ecu fan pin out
« on: April 12, 2016, 08:30:24 PM »

I wonder if anyone can help, I'm trying to install an electric fan in my wrangler build. Mechanically this is no problem. My issue is controlling it reliably. The after market sensors seem to switch at around 90 deg, if the v8 is anything like my 4.0 it will want to run at around 100 so the fan would be on permanently, not what I want/need. I did read a long time ago somewhere, I can't find it now, that the dodge dakota ecu I'm running has an electric fan controller pin out, anybody got a manual etc that will show this?

My other alternative is to fit the aftermarket switch on the engine inlet (after rad) side and see if that works, bad idea??
