Grand gearbox problem
«
on:
May 22, 2006, 02:06:41 PM »
My 4l auto grands started not wanting at times to chane up when pulling away at slow speeds
Several pumps of the accelerator over a few is getting it working again at the moment
Post on NAGCA suggests it could be the Governer but I also seem to recall mention being made of a belt on the gear box
Any thoughts or ideas...

Normaly pressure governor solenoid or pressure governor sensor. The bands would cause slippage all the time.
