Can I remove the evap canister on my ZJ?

So, as the title suggests.

Looks like there's a breather on the top of the canister which as it's connected to the fuel system kind of renders a snorkel useless.

So options....

Extend breather....

Relocate canister (and if so, to where as it's s big lump)

Get rid of canister.
