Grizzly Alloys question
« on: August 04, 2006, 10:46:38 PM »

I know it`s not technically a tech question but I don`t want stung. I`m bidding on and looking to buy these wheels on flea bay . How much are they worth?

Well thats my top bid so if its not enough then tough. Would a dealer ask for much more? Is is my bid too much ?, as  cheap steel wheels are £40 a pop online.

They are cheap compared to a dealer price and if they are MINT then I suppose it aint too bad.

I don't think you have a bargain though.

According to the seller they`re brand new. A new set of 5 wheels for £260 seems decent to me.
Then again............maybe they`re not as decent as I think.

Very nice, but if they were new the outer edge of the rim would have a nice bright machined finish. They're refurbished. Worth the current price, though.

Wow £280 with 4+ days to run!
Yep there refurbed but done well!
When I first had my TJ 3yrs ago; these alloys were going for about 200-250 (no tyres) in rough condition.
Price seemed to have dropped a lot in last year; I guess due to more on the market & more Sahara's being upgraded to wider rims.
I paid 250 18 months ago for 5 including 31" MTR's; they'd seen some offroading & some salty roads though   ! Probably selling em on soon though as part of house move rationalisation!
