Welding on a 94 XJ
«

Got a mate who needs to carry out mig welding on a 94 XJ. What, electrically, does he need to disconnect - last time he disconnected just the battery, but thinks he fried the CPS as he had stalling when hot problems immediately afterwards. Also - how does the connector to the PCM/ECU disconnect on this model, from what he's said, sounds like there is just one connector block, rather than the three on the facelift?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Undo the 8mm bolt in the middle and pull the connector. Disconnect the battery as well.
