Front wheel bearings shot
«

My Jeep needs new front wheel bearing hub assemblies - £390 from dealers  , £360 from Lighthouse Jeep
or $285 + shipping & taxes from Quadratec
(sort of).
But the Quadratec parts are non-genuine ; does anyone have any thoughts on using non-genuine parts such as this. Good idea or bad?

When I bought some for the TJ, the concensus was the Jeep ones were good, Lighthouse ones were questionable (some people had bad experiences, others said they were fine) and that 4wd ones were the nutz. (I guess they'll be similar to the quadratech ones.)
If you can wait for them to come from the states, get them from over there. IMHO

don't be worried about using american non genuine parts
you have to remember that you get sued if you have a shit in the wrong place in the US
so the aftermarket parts are always as good, if not better, than the originals.
I have used 4wd for allsorts and they are good, cannot fault the service
