Getting the roof lights slowly sorted and most of the wireing and running the cable is fine only thing I'm a little stuck on is the roof.
I really need to pull down a bit of the headlining to get access, first off how do you actually get it down and second is it going to go back up ok afterwards?
Edit. I'm looking at putting one of these

In the roof, so I can take the lights off when not needed. Thos connectors are completly waterproof. I could also use a short flying lead with the same connectors on but don't really fancy that idea.
To keep the power run as short as possible from the battery I'll run the cables up the A pillar so just really need to gett he headlining down to drill the hole and get the connector mounted.
I would have liked a flush connector but can't find one anywhere that will ahndle the current.
Edit2, These are the type of connector I'm after for the roof if anyone has seen em in the UK.

The wires on my lights i ran through the cable hole near to the bonnet release then under the carpet and up the seat belt unit then back to the front along roof linning, drilled 2 holes in the roof and out. Could not find the connectors so just connected direct. May put somme on later. They are switched down near the lights switch. Cherokee XJ
