« on: June 13, 2007, 08:13:37 PM »

hi everyone

The air bag light has come on and stayed on ,,,but at the same time the horn has stopped working

Have looked at fuse but they all seem ok
Any ideas what this could be ?

Had this problem a few weeks ago in my Grand ,took it to local dealers and it was the copper ring or something on the steering for the eletric connections . They just cleaned it and its not come on since.

 yes that thingy

I used to know a bird who was a bit of a ratbag, but I can't imagine ever buying a car with something like her in it!
Lots of stuff is advertised with this airbag invention nowadays, I reckon it's something like a Jiffy-bag but with no nice bits from Lighthouse in it.

There's a cherokee clockspring on Ebay now,

Don't know if it's the one you need, or how to fit it though  :?

If you're after a Haynes type manual, you can er.... get a Haynes one from their website www.haynes.co.uk. It's the US version for LHDs.
