Aussie Lockers

Anyone know of a european importer for these.
It seems a bit daft having to get 'em from the states when they're made down under.
Jeepers in the US get a pair of these lockers inc shipping for $500.

your best bet is to contact the manufacturer direct and tell em you will arange shipping all they gotta do is package it for ya and drop it on the ups van.

Funny thing that.
Ok, so I'm practically an IT cripple, but,
I 've googled it and it I keep getting Aussie Locker.com Torq Masters Technology, Rochester, NY.

I'm begining to wonder if they're made in Oz after all.
Maybe I need a better search engine

ARB is a bit weird that way. They are an Australian Company and manufacture there for the whole world except USA who make their own.
Praps Aussie do the same

There's some stink being kicked up about these, because, you can't actually buy them in Austrailia!
Well, you can, but only if you have them shipped in from the U.S. .... Manufacturers claim it's all due to U.S. dealers placing massive pre-paid orders, with none left over for the home market.
Not that that is really any of my concern , but what bugs me is they're $500 per pair (ie both axles) inc shipping in the US.
Does that mean when production picks up we'll pay £250 for both axles in the UK?
Somehow, I think not.

Now you're getting all bitter & twisted. You surely dont expect them delivered free in the UK do you ?.
Anyways you'll certainly have them to your door 2-3 days, Duty & VAT paid for less than £400.
Cheapest way is to find a friend whose going to Murka on holiday and have them carry them back. Luggage limit is 32kg per person IIRC

You're not getting my point.
I'd be happy if they never saw the US in the first place.
If it's Austrailian, why should I have to have it shipped from the US?
I'm paying makers profits, retailers profits, (fair enough) plus TWO lots of shipping costs and customs charges.

Cheers Ric!
It looks like you'll have to fly via Rochester NY if you want to pick one of those up!....... Most interesting ( I could write "most amusing" but I aint amused 'cos I wanted a pair).
No disrespect to the guy in the U.S. offering to buy them and ship them, but if I buy something brand new at full retail price I expect a full waranty etc.
I thought I smelled a rat!
So far, no one has actually come up with a physical location for where they're actually made, despite the claims of the vendors.
The plot thickens.
I wonder where they'll finally track them down to?

I've sent an email to my wife's cousin who we'll be visiting for some froadin' in the outback. Maybe he can find out if they are available or not - he drives a well hooked up TJ.
we'll see. Not expecting much of a result though.......

Back in April, I called Aussie Locker and was lucky enough to speak to the owner, Bill Cole( great guy by the way, helpfull, curteous,) I had needed an AussieLocker for a D44 for my daughters TJ for her BDay.
I had the order placed directly with Bill, and paid over the phone. It arrived the NEXT day with a happy Bday note to my daughter. I paid regular shipping, and these guys got it processed, packaged and mailed the same day, and upgraded to overnight shipping n/c ( and I don't even sound cute).
from my experience, great product, and great customer service.

Is that a subtle hint?
