« on: January 25, 2008, 11:43:04 PM »

Hi everyone,

After my little was mucking around with my remote on my 98 ZJ the thing now chirps when armed and disarmed........

Whats that all about? is this a standard feature that you can turn on and off?

Cheers

Must have pressed the key fob a thousnd times to get it un armed but does not chirp now  :?

its the square shaped fob for the TJ

Use the remote to unlock and then unlock a further 3 times. This will toggle the chirp function on or off.

Thanx, I didn't think I had that on mine, always have to walk away and keep looking back to make sure the indicators flash.
Will do mine tomorrow.  8)
