so, need some opinions, were you in my position, would you be happy to accept the arguement that when you sell a 'shackle lift kit', it would be obvious that you were only selling a rear lift? noting that there was only an ad for a CJ shackle lift.

please feel free to tell me if its fuckin obvious

muchos etc

LA Supertrux know better than that - they build monster trucks for a living. If it was sold as a complete CJ shackle lift then it should have four shackles - two of each size.

Can you post the link to the auction you won?

Afternoon all, link is below, as is the reply from them, i dont suppose the full refund will include original postage!

I dont undestand why anyone would assume its a set of four, But I will change the ebay page as you suggest as I am not into conning people.
Please return your parts and I will fully refund you if you are not happy for any reason.
regards Nigel

That auction definitely says to me that its a lift kit, which requires 4 shackes. If you wanted the "Dragster Look" kit, then 2 shackles would be fine. I've been stung with misrepresented stuff before off ebay and the seller claimed to be whiter than white. I don't use ebay anymore. Yes, you'll probably lose out on postage.

Postage included - result!

If you still need shackles, maybe phatphux could muster some up for you.

morning gents, next question, seem to be two sorts of shackle lifts, one of a squared off design and the other rounded, any particular importance attached to either? the rounded ones appear to be more expensive and greasable, is that hugely important (im not expecting the cj to do more than 3k/year)?

secondly, who is/are phatphux?

as usual, cheers

Phatphux is Greggmo and Bubba!

The rounded ends are simply to stop shackle edges digging in to things like squared ones would.
