Looking to buy a 4.0L Cherokee - 'R' plate facelift model (rejected previous 95 Cherokee - too much to do).
Headlamp adjusters are whirring away but not moving the lights. I've read that various springs / bezels etc are available from a range of suppliers. Is this something that can be fixed at home with a bit of tinkering about? I'm assuming that the mechanism has come to pieces?! If not repair, is it a case of replacing the light unit (~£34 from Mansfield 4x4) , or is the adjuster a separate thing entirely?
I'm willing to have a crack at it, but don't want to make an offer until I understand the consequences!
