31 10.50's are your best bet mate. though you could fit bigger you wont have the room to flex. to clear 33's on an xj you gotta go way bigger than 4.5 lift in my book. you would be surprised where a flexy xj with 31's will take ya mate.
give it a try with 31's and see how ya go.
