Decided to take advantage of the fine weather and get a start on fabbing my flat tops, to be honest I haven’t really looked at the engine since I got it, I did notice this

But as every thing ran all right I decided to leave well alone till I need to do a proper service. Anyway taking off the old wing I found this

It’s not connected to anything but looks like it should be there.
So my questions; What are they? Do I need them?

top one is not standard looks like a fuel filter with a glass bowl so yoy can see crud it may also have an inbuilt presure regulator like the fuelking stuff leave it if its not hurting anything
the bottom one is a charcoal canister from the factory emisions system
just chuck  it over the fence
