Guess its down to the old supply and demand.Probably not much call for them as most 4x4s that are popular offroaders run on 15 or 16 inch rims

cheers, I have found some e.g kumho but it seems non of the main brands do AT in this size.

Loads of tyres out there, hardly any ATs  :roll:

I would guess that it's not a typical 4x4 size as the 65 profile is fairly low profile for a 4x4 that's going to be used offroad

You could go up to a 245/70/17 which is about an inch taller and half an inch wider but you would have to check for rubbing and may have a change in acceleration and towing grunt because of the effect on gearing. This size seems to be standard for newer pickups like the Navara.
