can show you the tgb from the swedish army as they are all reverse tread....also.............and ask on the forums people that run dumper truck tyres about the benefits and disadvantages of reversing the tread on the front. .will that suffice? or do you need more "oh doubting one"peter henry
So let me get this straight, with directional tyres you can have the front ones facing back and the back ones facing front.?? But will this have any averse affects on road handling as apposed to having all the tyres facing the same way ? Guess I'm being a dumb ass, but I thought you had to have all the tyres the same or is that just not to mix different tread patterns on the same axle or something. Seem to vaguely remember an advert on telly years ago about different tyres on cars but cant remember what it was going on about. Also I saw a plod Lexus this morning that had chevron patterned tyres on it, on the back end it had the near side tyre facing forward and the off side facing the rear ... What's that all about ??
They was the days, any more I forgot about ?
Not only that but when you fit them the wrong way round they are noisey as fcuk and handle pish.
I miss all those old public information adverts, they used to be so naff and cheesy. I can now remember the one about the tyres, one about towing a caravan, one about banking up your coal fire in foggy whether or something, one about phoning the coastguard and don't forget the green cross man......... They was the days, any more I forgot about ?
It's'Kin bright orange....
