« on: December 29, 2008, 03:37:47 PM »

I will hopefully being picking up a Hardtop for my TJ soon, however, will I have to remove the softtop before fitting hardtop? and will hardtop fit with roll cage in place, center cross bar seems rather high   :?:  :?: Supid questions maybe, but the more i get involved with these jeep things, the more suprises they seem to hold.
Thanks in advance

you will have to remove the soft top and all its frame. the hard top will fit over a factory cj cage. 8-)

Cheers for that, soft top frame looks easy to remove, just 4 star drive bolts as far as I can see. :?:

you can get away with fitting the hardtop over the lip mounted to the top of the screen, otherwise you may have to remove that as well if you have hte correct seal for the front edge
