Pro comp explorer shock supplier wanted.
« on: January 06, 2009, 09:39:49 AM »

Hello, I'm starting to organise the build of my CJ6/Unimog hybrid. The 1 thing left on my intial parts list is a set of Pro-Comp Explorer  ES3000 shocks part#336000. Their the longest ES3000 shock (approx 36" extended, 20" closed).
Does anyone know somewhere who stocks them?
I've been to some local Landy places that have Pro-Comp signs up, but they are only willing to supply standard/lifted Landy items(even though 1 did admit he could get any size in).
I'd prefer somewhere i could go and get them from, rather than mailorder, but not firm on that, so ideally somewhere within 50miles of derby would be good.
Cheers Frank.

From what I’ve read in TOR, Bearmach is now the UK importer for the Pro-Comp range. They have a web address: www.bearmach.com and they are located in Caerphilly. Tel: 02920 396009.

Called Bearmach today, they said they only supply Landy spec items. But i got in touch with La Supertrux in Daventry and they can sort me out. About £40+vat each for ES3000's or about £49+vat for ES9000's. So i may as well go for the 9000's i think.

If your not specifially after pro comp, might be worth giving dave at llama4x4 a bell?  He imports rough country at a wide range of lengths.
