Can any one recomend an Oil Cooler for WJ 4.7V8 ??

As the title Can any one recommend a replacement Oil Cooler for WJ 4.7V8 on a 99 plate??

Or can i run with out one temporary if i loop the pipes back on themselves ??

engine or transmission.

If transmission mine only need it when I tow

Thanks for the pointers

Its the small cooler that sits on the front of the air con rad with pipes that enter and return via the main rad .

I have made up a new set of pipes and a steel loop the width of the rads out of 10mm Bore pipe that now sits in front of the air con rad.

I recon that there is plenty of volume in the pipe and steel to conduct the heat away which should give me all the cooling it needs till i can source a replacement

yes a series of bent pipe will dissipate the heat but not effectively, the fins that are attatched to the radiator allow the heat to transfer to the air alot better and result in better cooling.

how much room have you got spare, i might have a cooler that will fit.
