Heater Fan only works on full power
« on: January 16, 2009, 05:33:50 PM »

Hi.

I have a 2004 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer (commercial) 2.5crd.  It doesnt get a lot of use.  However i went to drive it the other day and turned the fan on and got nothing through the blower until i turned the switch to full power.  Is the problem with the switch or is there a power distribution box before the switch causing the problems.  Any responses appreciated....

There will be a resistor pack under the dash in the heater housing near the blower motor that's duff. The part number is 5066 552AA

No its a silver one.  What did you think of yours.  So far its been a great truck and a lot more economical than the 4.0 l petrol cherokee i used to own.  You were bang on with the part number i ordered one on Sat £13.  Thanks
