Nice. Let me offer some advice regarding sound quality. There isn't really enough air behind the speaker, so the reflected waves from the rear will impair the quality. If that happens, try getting some sound deadening such as Dynamat or Brown Bread. Line the interior of the space with it, putting a couple of layers at the rear.

I know what you are saying Tim, TBH I am more concerned with longevity that sound quality at this stage, if it’s unbearable I might do something, but expect it’s going to be good enough for traffic reports and a bit of Skydog 8-)

Console being made at mates workshop in 1.5mm stainless, he is doing it on down time so might be a week or so and then I am thinking about cladding it in checker plate, or the same vinyl as the seats or combination of both.
