MISSING JACK

ive just noticed i have no jack under my rear seat on my cherokee, can i buy a replacement or is there a suitable alternative out there, cheers hooch :partyman:

Get a little hydraulic bottle jack. I've got a Draper one with about a 6 tonne capacity that cost less than £20 IIRC. Much better than the silly windy thing.

I'm sure I saw an 'original' one on ebay the other day, but as James says, you'd be better with a small decent bottle jack.

the windy std things are basic and better than some other o.e jacks. for the cost get a small 2t bottle jack

im gonna hav to throw one of those 'im a donut' questions out there :| : does not a bottle jack fail on the height requirements (unless yer luggin around a couple of railway sleeprs with yer)?

Some 4x4`s like my Toyota come with a bottle jack as standard,as for the height thing i guess it depends where you jack and how big your lift is i guess

There are actually some real big bottle jacks available which have quite a lift height because they are also used on lorries
