Control arm Bushes

Finally sorted out the Blue Jeep (Tims old one) put new lower control arm bushes in today around 1.5 hours in all. Failed its MOT last October but just got round to sorting so back on track next wek. Free re test thankfully.

how could it need new bushings? they aint done 1000 miles. did ya keep the old ones ted?

did you consider tightening the bolt a bit instead of swapping the bushes

Remember that the bolts for these bushesshould not be tightened until the full weight of the Jeep is on the wheels. If you do it with the axle hanging the bushes will rip out in no time.
