Hi
ABS light came on for about 30 miles then went off, stuck in Walsall all week, is there somewhere local I can take it? Don`t want to risk going home in case it happens again....handbook says brakes will work, only without ABS....

You were in Walsall...check number of engines...tyres wheels brake pads on yer KJ.....

hi, did about 30 miles in rain, then it came on, no sudden braking or anything, then went off again after about 30miles or so, not towing....

and brakes and pads serviced/changed b4 christmas...cheers

Get the system scanned for faults. It's usually a sensor. There is an issue with the rear sensor (in the rear diff) on KJs, and a technical bulletin to cover the problem, but basically it gets contaminated with metal debris from the diff oil.
